MPL Mass Spec Ltd was formed on 21st August 2017 by Matt Loudon, a graduate in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from Flinders University in South Australia. He moved to the UK in 2001 and worked in several laboratory environments before starting work at Sciex in May 2005. In June 2012 he was promoted to Senior Regional Specialist before leaving in 2017 to start a new company. He has more than 12 years experience employed as Sciex engineer and 19 years working on Sciex equipment.
As a former Senior Regional Specialist he draws upon a wealth experience of service, preventive maintenance, installation, and training. He has a reputation for excellence in customer communication and satisfaction, as evidenced by his testimonials.

Repair
If you instrument is not performing to your standards feel free to contact us to discuss. All issues can be resolved quickly and instrument tested to OEM specifications. We have a large stock of parts to ensure that you are back up and running as soon as possible. initial troubleshooting is free of charge, whether it be via phone, email or a remote session. All costs are discussed and agreed before work begins, so no unexpected charges.
Service contracts
MPL Mass Spec is flexible in the service solutions we provide, our general types are; full comprehensive, PM only, response time and pre paid labour. If you would like any of these services or have some ideas on how we can best support you please don't hesitate to get in contact.
Preventative maintenance
Preventative maintenance is a great way to know that your instrument is working to to maximum potential and maximising up time. All instruments are tested to the OEM specification. Ion path cleaning is included on all PMs that are two days long. PMs can be coupled with other service visits such as breakdowns and detector refurbishment. IQOQ and PQ is also available for all MS equipment. All work is quoted and agreed upon before work is commenced.
